Circus Masquerade style event

 Circus Masquerade style event

The proposal is of a Circus Masquerade style event. All guest and staff will be required to dress in a Masquerade or Circus theme outfit.

Not your average circus style event, the attire can be inspired by Cirque De Solei  as the costumes are creative and “out there”, as seen in the first picture with the black and white stripe body suits.

I have chosen the colourful clown costumes as other circus attire inspiration can be by wearing costumes with colour in them as this style event is inspired by loud, extravagant colour schemes. Although the majority of the event will be lit up with extravagant colours, the main event will be purple and black colour scheme so when everyone is wearing the vibrant colours it makes it more effective and the colour contrasts I think personally look good and fit in with this style event.

The Masquerade attire can be inspired by high fashion events such as the picture I have included with the colourful feather mask, I love this look as it fits in with the colour scheme as colour and vibrant, also seen in the pic I have included with the 2 girls and masks on their face, I thought that this was a little different but also incorporating the quirky high fashion edge to it.

This event will be a ticketed event with tickets selling around $150-$300 each depending on additives the consumer wishes to include (I.e; VIP Treatment). This Circus Masquerade style event is aimed towards the high end, monied party crowd 18 years and older in each capital city of Australia, but I have mainly focused this one for the area of Brisbane just as example. The event in Brisbane will be taking place in the RNA Showgrounds,( http://www.rnashowgrounds.com.au/planning-an-event/venue.aspx)  as it is easily accessible as it is close to public transport and the area the event would be held in the Main Area with a main big tent set up, and lounges set up randomly around the area.
Entertainment on the evening such as including a carousel, Ferris wheel, acrobatics, stilt walking, fire acts,  and trapeze artists, this is by far anything but a dull event.

Food will also be available at this event with the Circus style foods available such as hot dog stands, cotton candy stalls, Churros, etc. If this isn’t your type of food, also on offer would be the Masquerade style catering such as the waiters carrying around canapés, and light finger food. Alcoholic beverages will be available as this is an 18+ event.

This type of event would be suitable for a national fundraising event as this event will travel to each capital city.
